In case you haven't read or heard, a Chinese laundry detergent manufacturer has been accused of being racist in an ad they produced.
Specifically, this ad:
This was immediately denounced as racist. Horrible. And in bad taste.
I think the Chinese were maligned.
They are not (more) racists (than other cultures).
What they are, is unoriginal.
See if you can tell the difference between the Chinese commercial and this Italian commercial from 2007 or earlier.
